浩瀚南海，碧玉瓊州。自古以來(lái)，海南人民在這片美麗的土地上辛勤耕耘，繪就出一幅幅壯麗畫卷，創(chuàng)造出璀璨文明。世代漁民以海為田，在廣闊的南海上耕海牧漁，彈奏出美麗的藍(lán)色樂(lè)章。
海南，“海上絲綢之路”的必經(jīng)之地和重要樞紐，多元文化在此交融，兼收并蓄，形成獨(dú)特的海島文化。城鎮(zhèn)建設(shè)海納百川，在瓊州大地上塑造出多姿多彩的特色風(fēng)貌。
This section tells the history of Hainan and how it has evolved into what it is today. Consisting of Hainan Island and many other smaller islands, Hainan is a marine province in the South China Sea. The industrious residents on the silands and fishermen fishing in the vast South China Sea had, over the generations, created a brilliant civilization of their own. As Hainan was also a vital stop on the Maritime Silk Road, cultures from other places had met here and mixed with local civilization to result in the unique form of island culture. in modern times, such island culture was further enriched and made more inclusive with the influence of urban construction.
以“多元融合.文脈傳承”為主題，展示海南建置沿革、海洋開發(fā)、城鎮(zhèn)變遷、城鎮(zhèn)記憶等璀璨歷史和獨(dú)特海島文化。
